Durham City/Durham County Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan

The City of Durham and Durham County are partnering to update the Durham Bike+Walk Plan. The Durham Bike+Walk Plan, adopted by the City of Durham in 2017, included 75 priority projects to make walking and bicycling in the City of Durham safer and more convenient. The updated Durham Bike+Walk Plan will include recommendations and priority projects for new sidewalks, bike facilities, and greenways across Durham County. Information on the planning process and opportunities for public input will be posted on EngageDurham.com. This study is programmed in Triangle West TPO’s FY25 Unified Planning Work Program.
