The Public Public Participation Plan guides efforts to proactively involve the public to plan a multimodal transportation system that meets the region’s economic, sustainability, and equity goals.
The Public Participation Plan serves as guide to the public on how community members can participate in transportation planning processes, guides the TPO staff on outreach and engagement efforts, and outlines the following:
- What planning processes require public participation
- How community members can participate in planning processes
- How community members can provide public comments
- How Triangle West TPO can measure the success of public participation
The Public Participation Plan was adopted in April 2025 by the Triangle West TPO Board.
